Hi, my name is William. I am 18 and live in northern Ohio. I am a total GM nut and have owned quite a few. My last car was a nightmare, a '87 BMW 325is. Unbelievebly expensive to maintain.

'92 Cavalier Z24, 3.1, 5 speed, 165k miles. Picked it up today for $600. has some rust issues on the doors, otherwise really nice.

I do have the typical questions such as what can I do to get more oomph out of the 3.1, and what is the best sounding muffler, since I know the wrong one can make the 3.1 sound terrible.

listen to T2 don't bother, if you want to mod your Z you first need to get it rebuilt other wise your wasting you time and money, don't get me wrong I'm all about moding read my profile but you want a strong engine first, one that will last especially if you want to do serious mods like boost, nitrious, etc. Either way thats were I'd start after the rebuild man I'd say mod it until your satisfied I ain't satisfied but the wallet only goes so far a month, so you do what you can as you can, Good Luck with your choices with your Z and by the way welcome to your new addiction ( J's are addicting to mod).
