i have seen these tails mentioned on the org before, and ppl saying that there were things wrong with them. well, i was wondering what is wrong with them. i was thinking of using them to make some led tails since i saw them cheaper than stock sets and they have clear lenses.
what do you guys think? can the problems with them be fixed pretty easily?
i believe people just didnt like them.
i also believe that they were sealed poorly.
perhaps that would be all you needed to do was to just give a nice coat of silicone around the edges to ensure a tight seal.

They're 'bad' because so many people put flashly/gaudy Altezza lights on their otherwise stock cavy and it looks bad. As stated, some have cheap/crappy seals on the back where they connect to the steel of the car. Also as stated, a bit on silicone will seal it right up, use it where the rubber is, not arround the edge of the light.
On the right car they can look very good, but if you have an otherwise stock car you should really take a look around the web for good examples of how they can turn out ugly.
i have them and no problems they even tell you to give it a good shot of silicone for extra protection and its is worth it
