as a new member to this site i would like to make my first post.

Currently i have a 2001 sunfire with 130000KM, i have a custom intake and ractive exhaust, the car needs some minor work (strut, o2 sensor) and needs some minor body work, recently replaced transmission (4-speed auto) and BTW it is a 4-door, wondering if it is worth putting some money into and making a really cool car. i have seen some 4-door with alot of mods to make it look nice but can you really get alot of speed out of a 2.2L sunfire. or should i buy another car and do that one up. frigured the sunfire might be worth it seeing i already have that.

you can decent power out of that motor. but id rather swap in an ecotec engine or get a car with an ecotec in it. the eco has more parts, more aftermarket support.

i had a 2001 sunfire. it had a header cat back hi flow cat and a muffler and cai. def opened the car up alot. it had i think 86K on it when i did all this to it. on the highway the car was very good. give it alittle gas and it would move right along. mine was also the 4 speed auto. i sold it with just over 118K to a friend and shes still driveing it around.

Well, as a noob to this site, also with a 2.2L 2001 Sunfire auto, I'm looking to start modding it. I'm 17 so you can probably understand why I'm doing it now and not a lot earlier. I feel it has pretty decent accel aand whatnot, but I want more power and accel and blah blah blah in it. Suggestions? Any help would be great....
