NEW J-body owner here

Hey everyone. I jsut bought a 04 Sunfire with a CF hood, I beleive a Weapon R intake, and a set of lowering springs. I am new the the GM car world as i have only had Fords before. So any help with anything will help. Fist of all, I was wondering what size tires everyone is putting on their 17's? This has 225 45's on it when I got it.

Welcome to the site.

225/45/17 is pretty much ideal for 17x7 to 17x7.5 wheels for our cars.

You should fill out your registry soon, it's mandatory, and will help if you ask questions down the road. That way people don't have to guess what you have if you leave something out. With a 10 year run for a vehicle that had 4 engines and 4 different transmissions it can get confusing when you ask questions.

Also check out www.azjbo.org for a local site and www.gravanatuning.com for a sit supporting vendor.

Welcome and if you want a brand. IMO Fuzion ZRi's are the best bang for your buck. I have them on my stock Z rims and its like night and day. I paid $99 a pop which is good for performance tires.

Either that or 215/45's, both keep your speedo within 1 mph. As for brand, I don't have any compaints with the Riken Raptor. I was skeptical at $82 each but I've yet to hydroplane or even spin the tires.
