i kno this sounds truly newb...but im looking to upgrade the upper and lower motor mounts, i always thought it would be 2 uppers and 2 lowers, but every site i look on shows one mount and doesnt mention haveing 2 in the set. are they expecting you to buy two sets? im confused

I see you have the LD9 so you just have one solid lower mount and the upper is more like an insert than a mount. But you only have one upper and one lower.

you're only going to need motor mounts if you're going to do a lot of work to your engine. otherwise, it's really not worth it.

what are you planning on doing to your engine?

I disagree completely actually.... my motor is bone stock and would kill to have the solids in there right now..... i hate how damn sloppy the stockers are. I'm speaking from experience to, my last car had the solids in them and i loved them.

i can understand how a turbo kit , or juice, would require a new mount, but i too am a newbie. tell mey would motor mounts be worth the pain in the ass on a stock/near stock motor?

Listen F***ers. FASTERTHANAHONDA is a joke because I WORK FOR HONDA. I'll talk @!#$ about Fords to, that doesn't mean I can beat a 12 second mustang.

how do you mean they would be a pain in the ass? the top just locks into the stock and the bottom is basicly support the motor, pull old one off and put new on in. that is what i understand it to be with the research ive done, if its not some one let me kno.

when you gas your car the engine rocks back and forth. having a turbo or header on your car, it can get damaged from banging against the firewall. aftermarket mounts stop the rocking back and forth
