I've looked around this site quite a bit and it is full of fun! But I am not a performance guy. I just want to keep my Cavvywag (1994) in good shape as long as my moved on 1985 Cavvywag: 250,000 miles. How much help, without the snarking I got on the Cadillac board can I expect here? Is there a corner for us older hangers on?
I find no fault with super sneakers, I had a ten second Corvair when they were the hot number. I also love my La Salle (Cadillac) and got some good advice from a forum about that. But I have aged out of hot rodding and just want to keep my ride running and looking good. Besides, nothing like a Cavvywag to pick up parts for the La Salle, Bonneville, Delta, Toyovan and Vibe sitting in the driveway.

First off, welcome.
there are plenty of folks around here that are not performance-oriented, so really, that shouldn't be an issue.
As for keeping your Cavvywag running and maintained (honestly, that's the first time I've heard it referred to as such), the Second Gen forum is probably the best option. there's a good bit of knowledge to be gained about your car.

Oh, and there ain't nothing wrong with a sleeper
2nd gen forum. Several people with more knowledge than most of us would ever care to admit knowing about old Cavaliers. Not that there's anything wrong with having option codes memorized......

Cavvywag, an offhand remark from a friend looking to borrow it. I love it! "WENYWAGN", the license plate, describes this car's uses. It's a grocery getter. I deliver paper products with it.
I have owned several super sneakers. The Corvair did 10.02 at 139.47 in 1970, my best time ever. A Furd Galaxie, 1965 wagon with a 352, was still holding second when it ran out of speedometer at 125. A mechanic that worked on the side from Richard Petty's shop did that engine for me. In 1976. My 1967 Fairlane had just a 289. But with a lot of carburetors, duals, cam and mufflers designed to quiet diesel trucks. Very sneaky. I never hopped up the Chevettes but a friend did it to one I sold him. Lavender. Supercharged Buick 3800. Snicker.
These days I just keep the beasties running as best I can. The time is here, but I am out of money, strength and stamina. Age sucks.
Of course if I had all that stuff I would put a Toro 455 in the back and slip a Cimarron front clip on it. Sneaky indeed.
Cavillac Dragon Wagon.
You might want to snag a look at Jux's turbo '91 wagon. It's a hell of a transplant. Search under the 2nd gen forum.
