Okay...I was thinking about buying my mom's 04 Cavalier Ls. Nice car...got tint...got rims...all that jazz. I like the j-bodies a lot but I like Sunfires more...so I was wondering if the Sunfire GT came with the 2.2l ecotec engine (like the cavy). I've read around and all I hear is the LD9 this and 2.4l that... I read on Wiki that Sunfires from late 02 - 05 had the ecotec and I was just wondering if this source was viable. Thanks and sorry if this post is sloppy...it's my first.

You'll find some late 02 Fires that have Ecos in um.

Really appreciate the quick response. Gives me some time to look for one before I decide to say screw it and just buy the Cav... I hate living in a small town...can't find crap for cars around here. There isn't a single MR2 in the entire state of TN that I can find at least...
yes 03-05 sunfires have ecotecs.
