2.2 2000 sunfire se alternatior and gas mileage question

I have a 2000 sunfire se and it has the 2.2 liter engine.

I have a amp which isn't very strong but i also have ac/dc inverter....

So i was wondering if anyone had any ideas wheres a good place to get a higher output alternator?

and also would a underdive pulley or anything like that help me get a little bit better gas mileage?

i have a k and n air filter but I havent done anything else.

I dont use the car to race around or anything but im just tired of these gas prices.....

a higher amp alternator should be able to be ordered from your local parts store. (advance/autozone)

but, an underdrive pulley will negate (for the most part) any gain from a higher amp alt, because your alt will be spinning slower. just do proper maintenance, and keep your car cleaned out. ( less junk=less weight=more mpg)

Make sure you keep an eye or your tire pressure too. That actually helps with gas milage.

You should be around 30 psi
