Hi, and thanks in advance to anyone that can help me.
I'm trying to replace the headlight bulb on my 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier. I removed the rubber cover, and the 2 bolts holding the headlight assembly, but I can't seem to remove the assembly. Is there a catch I'm not seeing? if there is specific instruction on what it looks like, and where it is would be appreciate. Or a website with pictures.
Again, thanks.
You have to remove the turn signal. If you look down in between the headlight and turn signal there is a tab you have to push in with a screwdriver. The blinker slides in fron the front so it will go out from the front. Also your manual shows you how to.
doesn't she just have to lift on it a bit because mine come out WITH the corners attached.

Thanks for the responses. Steven was correct, there was a tab I had to release to get the sidelamp out first, then the headlight pushed forward easily.
Without releasing the sidelamp first the headlight would night push forward enough to get the bulb out.
I'm sure. I don't know about other years or models, or even other '02 cavaliers, But in my case there was no way the headlight was coming out while being connected to the sidelight. While they were connected they would only move forward an inch or so, not enough to do anything productive.
