I have a 98 cavalier with a 2200 and i'm kinda curious as to if i could just swap in a new cluster with a tachometer or not..
it's a standard btw,, and also does the mileage matter or will it update itself??

go to a junkyard and get 1 out of a 98z. if you have mechanical milage then you can pull the tumblers out and swap them. 95-99 the milage is stored in the cluster. since you have a 2.2 i assume its mechanical
