kinda, sort of a newbie in a way.

hey all,
i have been a member for quite awhile...joined November 25, 2002 LOL...way back when i had my 94 4dr RS. never posted here much at all. i mostly hang out over at V6z24.
anyway....i just wanted to say i am back in a J-body. a 04 base coupe.

04 coupe
2.2 ecotech
5 spd
26,000 miles
not a DAMN thing power just the way i wanted it. it does have CD and A/C tho.
only thing i am really planning on doing to it is some summer rims and tires (i HATE hubcaps) and maybe fog lights.

how i ended up up back in a J-body? well i came home from Iraq in February 2005, decided i was sick of my RS. 1/2 the power crap didn't work right. i was REALLY tired of changing right front wheel bearings, never did figure out what was causing them to only last about 8 months or so. and i wanted a 4x4 truck. so i sold the cav and bought a 89 Nissan hardbody.
had a blast with that until i toasted the head and spun a rod. so it got sold (for dirt cheap) and bought a 89 Jeep wrangler.
BIG HUGE A$$ MISTAKE!!!!
total POS, i hated it after the novelty wore off. they say you either "get" the "Jeep thing" or you dont. well i dint get it. and i just couldn't take 14 mpg anymore. i mean in the summer it wasn't too bad... i could ride my motorcycle to work most days and save on gas. but in southeast Ohio you cant ride year around (plus I'm a cold weather wuss ) so it got traded in on the 04 Cav.
now i can drive to work enjoying my morning coffee and cigarette. the heater is nice and warm before i even get 5 miles down the road (Jeep heaters SUCK!!!) i can HEAR bob & tom again, and my doors arnt about to fly off at highway speeds,
all is well in the world and Larp is happy
