hey, i as wondering any one else had this problem. i have an 01 cavie, which has the larger headlight then the 95-99. i bought the HID upgrade and now im having problems. the hid harness only connects to one headlight plug to use as a control wire, so when i turn on my headlights i get a service light. im thinking that the computer is figuring that there is a headlight out. i was thinking of testing the resistance of the low bean on a halogen, then inserting a resistor of same size into the headlight plug on the pass side. also, when driving during the day, the daytime driving lights wont turn, which doesnt hurt my feelings, but i also get a service light. if i disengage the DDL module do yall think that will end the service light as far as day time driving? as far as projector, i know that aftermaket projectors for the previous year cavi's arent designed for use with HID's, so i was considering retrofitting a FX35 projector into my headlight. i was even thinking of making my own headlight so i could make a one peice headlight/turn signal housing. for the sake of saving time, does anyone know where to pick up a premade projector headlight for the 00-02 cavi until i get around to breaking out the fiberglass? any ideas?
