Hey, some of you might have seen me around here already, not so much a newbie, but i want some of peoples opinions. I have a 2000 Cavalier Base Model Sedan 2.2 SFI with a ....3spd. I plan on getting the look of T2's sedan he used to have. I have already gotten the z24 spoiler and side skirts. Now i plan to get the RK front and rear valance. I don't plan on dropping it because of the cost and winter driving sucks in michigan with a kit. What should I do with my car, it has 91,8xx miles on it right now, and runs like a champ. Normal Oil Changes and recent tune up. I also plan on exhaust, what setup should i go, just a muffler and resonator, not full. I also have tinted windows, just 50% on fronts, being that any is illegal in michigan, and 20% in back. Any ideas?! thanks.
You can have the back three windows as dark as you want and 4" on the fronts as dark as you want.I had the pleasure of seeing T2's
ride,also raced it.Thought I had him but he ran a 14.8 to my 15.4.
yah, i can't stand 5%, too damn dark for nighttime, and i drive quite a bit at night. I'm not looking to improve my engine really, just minor mods, intake header, etc. Just a 2200, not an engine for me to mod. T2's car's stance was awesome, i am looking to buy the sport ls springs, they are 1 inch lower than regular cavs, from what i hear, and they are safe on stock struts. hope to get this done this summer.
How should i go about mounting side skirts, being that i don't have the holes for the clips.....just screw in the wheel wells then 3m tape the sides?
I just wanted to throw this in there i had 2.5% on my windows and it was sooooo dark at night I had to roll the windows down to see if any cars where comming lol.

what purpose would this serve... you'll lose a ton of power and just make your car sound obnoxiously loud.
if you just want to get the look of a muffler down, they have plenty of tips you can put on the stock muffler's tail pipe.
but if you are looking for performance gains and something that sounds good... you want to get a header, high flow cat, and then a muffler... and upgrade the piping to around 2 1/4 "
i am just looking for a good sound. i am on a reallllly tight budget thats why, nothing performace gain wise on exhaust, can't afford all of the pipe and labor.
2000 Cavalier Sedan.
