Hi, i've been on this site for about 6-8 months now reading up on jbody's and tips you guys have to give.
i have a:
2002 cavalier z24 (4 door), 2.2ecotec engine, 5 speed
im not really into speed mods but i have a pretty good sound system
2 jbl cs300.1 monoblock amps.
2 12" rockford fosgate p3s (2007 model)
1 rockford fosgate p400-4 amp
jbl power series 6x9s
(and soon jbl 6.5 power series components).......as soon as i get more money
and dont worry i use the SEARCH button!!!!!
Sounds like you def have the right ideas with your sound. Be careful to install those 6.5's right when you get them. Search around on here the proper way to install them is listed somewhere. But i can't stress enough how important the install is on 6.5's. It made all the difference in my car.
If it does not have the 2.4 it is not a z24. Since you have the ecotec I am willing to bet it is a ls sport. I would like to see some pics of your car. I know they continued to call and put the z24 badge on the fender on the canadian models z24's after switching over to the ecotec.

How do you like Rockford Fosgate for your amp? I looked at one, but unfortunately it wasn't connected so I couldn't demo it.

hey wade...ya in canada (where i live) they still called it the z24, even though it has the 2.2ecotec in it

and ice, the rockford amp (p400-4) is sweet......i just picked up the rockford p1000, it pounds, i just have to finish my install of everything
gonna take out the 6x9s and gonna order the jbl 6.5 gti series speakers to put in the doors, and get my dynamat installed soon (when the weathers a little better)
i'll also put up video of the system
well here's the pics, sorry it took so long. I also changed out the jbl amps and put in a rockford fosgate p1000bd amp.
i got the jbl 6.5" components p650c (didnt have enough money for the gti's
