Hi first time poster here, to be honest i thought these cars were junk until my buddy with a 94 z24 3.1l 5 speed took me for a drive..now i have to have one. anyways on to my question i can get a black 2 door 5 speed 93 cavalier z24 3.1 for 150 bucks the body needs a bit of work but everything else is good im wondering how much for a clutch and im pretty good with a wrench could i put a clutch in myself or should i take it to someone?

You can do it yourself. I think the spec stage 2 was around 350 for the kit. (slave, TO bearing, PP, disk, and alignment tool). I am no pro and have done it twice on the grand am. You may get some others opinion on spec but I have only 2000 miles on it so can't really give a review. I do like the grab of the new clutch though.

If you are handy with a wrench, this is something you could probably do.....pick up a manual for the car if you are unsure, look at the procedure, see if this is within your knowledge base....or close enough to it.
