ok guys im not new to the building thing but i dont post alot so im doing it in newbies section(and its kinda a dumb question). but i got a 99 cavy with the ln2 and i want to delete my a/c when i swap my motors over this summer.the only thing is i was told that the heater uses the ac system and i still wanna drive my car to college in the winter. so im wondering if theres anyway i can get rid of it without side affects of condensation in my car or anything like what ive been told will happen . any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks devin
ok thanks i was told that it would cause my defroster to blow condensation on my windshield and i really dont want that driving down the highway everyday
^^^ It will not, but it will weakening the affect your defrost has on your windshield, since you will be effectively removing the dryer from the system.

Yeah I just remove the A/C monday, and honestly I haven't noticed it effecting any of the defrosting capabilities of my cavalier.
Then again, it could of always been this way when I got it.

if the a/c didnt work, then you already know what its like to not have it in the system. mine didnt work when i bought the car, i have never had any issue with it not defrosting the car.

I just got my A/C working yesterday lol, but never had a defrost prob for the 4 years i didn't have A/C. Im taking the whole A/C unit out all together this winter when I swap in the new motor.
