Eibach Sportlines - Proper Struts
Sunday, June 01, 2008 8:32 AM
Heyyyy ... looking for a little help here .. I have Eibach Sportlines as you guessed by the topic ... looking around on ebay and through the JBO forums .. I realize that KYB GR2 is for OEM springs only .. so they're out of the question and AGX only supports 1.5" drop without voiding warranty ... Tokico blues only support 1.5 as well ... same with Tokico DSP1's .... what am I supposed to put for struts? lol.

Koni Reds, Yellows, D-Specs (Tien).. AND many people have used the AGX's with Sportlines without issues... (YES they handled it !)

TOKICO D-SPEC'S will not hold the sportline drop?

dspecs will. those and konis are the only 2 struts that can handle just about any drop as long as its not ridicious slammed. they can handle those springs and coilovers.

Thanks - wasn't sure if TOKICO D-Specs are the same as (Tien) as he mentioned. Sportlines are a pretty aggressive drop ... makes the care even out quite nicely with my 2.4L LD9. Riding on stock struts isn't too fun considering you bounce around like a hay wagon... =)

HAHA im not going to lie. When i read the last part of this i started laughing my A$$ off. Ive got Sportlines on 100,00 miles stock struts and shocks. lol. No lie it is quite the bumpy ride. I don't recommend it. nobody will ride with me haha. there head always smacks the roof. ha. i find it amusing. But seriously its so bad right now that he rivets to the bracket that holds my PCM/ECU snapped off two weeks ago and i ran over a bunch of wires, had to get solder crazy. Now its newly re-enforced.

One last thing lol. just to add to an already crap ride...... i ride on 215/35/zr18 tires. HAHAHAHA . sucks nuts.
