Hi I'm kinda new and I just got a new wings west poly urethane body kit for my 00 z24 cavy. just the side skirts and front bumper are painted and ready to be put on.. is it all just bolt replacement? can I do it myself? is there any things I should know before putting it on?

already painted? did you get it from someone else? its pretty simple to put on. just remove your old bumper and sides and use the hardware for it to attach the new stuff.

Pretty strait foward, just remove old bumpers, replace with new ones

me and my buddy just tried slapping it on with a few tools and it was way harder than expected.. need to drill alot of holes. I Think i'm just going to send it to a body shop!

is it a brand new kit? or used?

if new, the holes should be easily shown as dimples in the urethane on where to drill.

should not be hard at all.

Even if its not dimpled for the holes, you should just be able to get it held up on the car. have your friend hold the bumper flush to the fender and you get under the car and mark the hole where it bolts up. Repeat with other mounting areas. And why is it painted? You should always get a mock up and make sure its fitting right before the kit ever sees any paint. Theres all kinda things that could happen to that paint job, plus you're gonna have to drill holes. If you got a brand new urethane kit and its straight from the company, it should be warranted and guaranteed for fitment. If you had to send it back for a better fitting one, you would lose money on the paint job.

Ok yes the kit is used and has all the holes already, we held everything up to the car after the stock parts were removed and everything fit perfect..we just need some better tools so we can drill it onto the car, shouldnt be too difficult. Thanks alot guys.. this is going to look sweet!
