I just joined the j-body.org and just wanted to ask a quick question. Im looking at a set of 00-02 Z24 rims for my car,
Is there anything that I should look for to make sure that there worth the money hes asking? ($200 for a set of 4 rims and tires, two tires are good, two tires are bad)
One rim has some slight scratches but the rest of them seem to be in good shape. I'm only 17 and dont really know if theres something I should be looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

ya, thats what i thought. i never seen them yet because he lives an hour away, but hopefully ill be going down this week

just think of it this way... if you go to buy a brand new 00-02 z rim from gm your looking at i believe $160.00 for just one. so yep, your getting a nice deal. 200 is about what any set of z rims go for now a days though, depending on condition, ive seen sets go for $50 up to $400.

especially for having at least 2 decent tires, you can pick up 16" tires for less than a hundred each... so for most of $400 you will have a nice rim upgrade and good tires.

Im going to check them out sometime this week, from the pictures he sent me there in really good shape except for one, but it just has minor scratches, not even bad curb rash. I just want the hubcaps off haha
