I just bought an 05 cavalier. The first thing i want to do is replace the taillights/ headlights. I'm having a hard time finding lights. does anybody have any good sites? Also on the note of taillights can i remove the middle light and only replace the outside taillights?
There is a filler panel available from RK Sport to change the middle section of the trunk.
If you remove the middle part of the trunk you will have about 7 empty holes in it so the best thing to do would be to get a 1995-2002 trunk to start with.
If you are using an older trunk there are many different tail light options.
As for headlights, most are custom jobs such as retrofitting projector HIDs and angeleyes into them. I don't personally know of any aftermarket headlights for 03+ cavaliers but maybe someone else can chime in on that.

Try
RKSport, they have a carbon fiber bezel to replace the inner tail light so you can use 95-02 stock or aftermarket tail lights.
As for headlights, try searching and you can find write-ups on how to clear them (get rid of the orange/amber part) or make them into projectors. you could try searching ebay too.
By the way, since your new, if you have a question, search before posting
I found a BEZEL on RKsport. if I install that it says it will allow me to use aftermarket taillights from oldermodel cavaliers. this would void the need to go with an older model trunk right?

yup, if you use the bezel, you don't have to use an older model trunk, all it really does is cover the holes left by the center part of the stock lights

the taillights are interchangable regardless of the trunk lid. only thing the bezel does is like mentioned, covered the holes. your best bet is to just get a 95-02 trunk lid and throw it on.
so your saying all lights are interchangeable regardless of what year car they were made for. Moar Candy! LAWL?
