As you all know that cavalier was made also by toyota. And many of us has seen people such as Raven do spectacular things to there cavaliers such as the 3.8L Swap. In saying that i have done research and was wanting some of yall's opinions on this idea that i have before i even attempt to put it in play. With as i said cavalier being made by toyota i thought about doing a 2JZ engine swap into it..making the stock power around 320hp and not only that but converting the cavalier to rear wheel drive as well...let me know what yall think.
you are asking about it before researching it and doing it. this tells me you dont have the know how or ability to do it. end of topic
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Do it. If that's what you plan to do, then go ahead and pave the road for all to follow. You will need to reinforce the whole structure of the car to be able to handle a RWD platform. Also, I want progress pictures.
Besides, as I recall, Chevy still made the toyota cavalier. It was just rebadged and made for the Japanese market (RHD, road flare, and such).

toyota cavaliers were not made by toyota. in fact they were made right along side the regular chevy cavaliers right here in good ol us of A ..
Chevy made all cavalier and they also make the LSx series engine. So a LS7 swap would put make the cavalier RWD and put it at 500hp.
If you did your research you would have found1,xxx,xxx number of threads with the same thing in question.........
lol another person wanting to convert their car to rwd. good luck, im sure we'll never hear from you again.
