I have invested over $700.00 in trying to find out why my 2001 GM Sonoma shakes while driving down the road. sometimes a little bit and sometimes it feels like it is falling apart. Would like toknow if anyone else has had this problem

Try checking your U-joints.

Since you replied to the email that got sent to you from this web-site, I will post your responce:

Quote:

had tires rims axles checked shaking seems to come from rear when moving only. drive shaft was also taken out and rebalanced twice. some days are worse than others speed doesn't really matter fast or slow[\quote]

Also, check your shackles in the back, make sure the rear end is not loose. Any clunking involved? Did you check the bearings in the rear?
