I took my car for a drive today. Tested it out with my polish job on the intake and TB and got new exhaust. So i was out for about 10 minutes ripping it pretty good, when i got home i check the temp. gauge and it was like 3/4 the way up there and also on the driver side it smelt a little like burning plastic and something else i find hard to explain. any suggestions would be great. The top of the engine was really hot, like if you touched it for a couple seconds you would have a hell of a burn. please help me.
could it be clutch cause i was on gravel but when i switched from first to second going pretty good second was going then it stop picking up as hard, but the rpm's didn't change.
