Im from ontario, I own a 2001 black cavalier z24 fully loaded. I bought it with a blown motor but that will be fixed soon $500 couldnt turn it down.
Its lowerd already, Iv already swapped the rear bumper to a 1999 z24 rear bumper. Anyways Hope to gain some knowledge on this site.
welcome to the site i guess no one else was gonna say it lol
is it properly lowered or just lowered with stock struts because if so you'll most likely have to replace the struts soon. but welcome and good luck with everything.

why would just automatically jump to the conclusion that the car is lowered wrong and he'll need to replace struts soon? he didn't say anything about the ride being uneven, bouncy, or popping...
GO PATS!!!

first of all if you actually read what I said and not skim through it then you will noticed that it was a question, a heads up, a fact if you want to say. just giving her the heads up, im not telling her what to do or anything.
Plus reading that this is in the Newbies and that the headline says "hey new here" and her saying that she basically just bought it means she hasn't really been driving it that much. oh plus she just joined this website on the day she posted this topic. Even if its improperly lowered doesnt mean that its going to be riding uneven, bouncy, or popping right away. it can come over time.
so just to let you know steph take a look at your struts you'll be able to see if they are still stock struts or not. If they are stock struts with just lowering springs or coilovers on them then just becareful dont go hitting every pothole you can. It wont be nice trust me I been in that spot and it ended up costing me 600 dollars to get it fixed. Dont be scared because you wont get hurt my girlfriends sisters cavalier is lowered with just springs and its been running great for 2 years or more now.. and if you have a properly lowered car well congratulations 500 dollars for a car already lowered is a great buy.
i would have had an easier time realizing that that was a question had you used the proper punctuation.
GO PATS!!!
since when has the words "is it" when at the beginning of a sentence never been a question??
didn't we already go over the fact that i was skimming?
GO PATS!!!
ok sorry I posted that last night and I was having one hell of a @!#$ty day at home and at work.
