I have posted regarding this problem once before. When the car is cold, after backing out of my driveway, and shifting into Drive, three warning lights illuminate on the dash. The service light, the ABS light, and the Trac Control light. If I turn the engine off, and restart, the lights go off and stay off. This is on a 2003 Sunfire w/automatic trans. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Your brake light would come on with a bad ground in the parking brake, and the trac light could be related, but the service light has me stumped.
On another thought if you have a faulty abs sensor, it could cause these lights to illuminate.
Check for recalls online, I know chryslers needed to go back to the factory for a reflash to solve this problem before. (G40 recall)
Good luck post your solution when you fix it. (Please don't take the lights out of the dash...)
