A friend of my dad told me that if you put on tires that are bigger than the factory specs... (Example: Factory tires for a car are 14"..and you put on a 16" tire)...that the speedometer reading is not the true reading...in fact you are actually going a few mph faster?
anybody else heard of this and is it true

you can have anythign from 14" wheel to a 19" wheel and the speedo will be fine as long as you get the right sizee tire to keep the overall diameter the same.
