Hey all, just wanted to say hi.
I'm new to the forum, but it seems that there is a lot of knowledge here to be gained.
I have a 2004 Cavalier LS Sport Coupe. I really like what could be done, some of the cars here are very nice. I definitely enjoy how easy everything is to get too.
Anyway, I'll probably be asking lots of questions. I plan on doing a lot of things whenever I do have the cash to. So far, I've just put on the K&N intake on it.
welcome man. hope you learn alot from the org. that K&N intake is a good start. hope you have fun modding and i look forward to some updates
Welcome! I am new here, too. Everyone seems to be pretty cool and helpful.. as long as you don't talk about politics!
Post some pics of your car!!

Ya, I've been lurking for long time now on the site.
So far, my goals are split up:
Inside:
Eibach Anti Sway Kit
High-Flow Catalytic Converter
Ecotec 4:2:1 Header
Dual Stainless Cat-Back System
Nology Power Core Coil Amplifier
KYB Front / Rear Gas Shock
RKSport Coilovers
Dodge Neon Rear Swap
Vertex High Performance Wire --Bought
Outside:
Carbon Fiber Euro Tail Lens Set
Carbon Fiber Trunk Bezel Cavalier
Type-J Kit
Black 17x8 ASA AR1 Black w/Mach Lip
215/45ZR17 XL Goodyear Eagle GT Blackwall
Paint: Black Glossy
50pct Black Tint
Smoked Front Lights
That's just some goals for me, I'll get them one at a time.
I really have enjoyed my experiences so far with the RKsport folks, I would love to keep them in business, most of my parts I'm going to buy from them.
thats a sweet list ya got there. i just picked up a set of kyb agx's for all the corners and i couldnt be happier with them. im riding on some goldlines but i heard the rk rides nice also. any plans for boost? maybe a saab kit?
Welcome! Good looking cavy.

Good start,
Eco is a great motor,
few things though.
-The kyb's will not hold up to the rk coil-overs.
-The Nology Power Core Coil Amplifier will not work with the stock eco ignition.
I'm guessing the vortex wire is for spark plugs, once again, if so, it will not work with an eco ignition.
-And I noticed in your registry that you are using Bosch platinum 4 Spark Plugs, please throw those away.
I had a very bad experience with them on my l61, as have a few of my friends.
They rob performance, gas mileage, and since you cannot gap them, there is no way to make sure you have the correct burn.
Just get some ac delco oem replacements.
And Welcome.

Hey, thanks for the advice. I have bought the bosch's, but as of yet, not installed them. I'll return them, get the delcos, thanks! I'll sideline the amp and wires as well.
Oh, for boost. I haven't made any plans set in stone for that far ahead yet. My first plan was just to get some bolt-ons, for air flow...intake, header, cat, exhaust.
With so much air flow, I'm not sure if I should mess with the fuel system, it makes sense to me, more air needs more fuel. Get some better fuel injectors.
Then worry about getting that small amount of extra onto the ground, update with some upper/lower mounts, sway bars, a nicer suspension. I
f I like the way all that works, then I'll start thinking about boosting.
I was thinking of just getting the gm supercharger. I don't have any mechanic friends, except for some bodywork friends, so I wouldn't have anyone able to try to flash the car, except for a dealership. I've seen a couple of cavy's around town, but nothing too worked on.
ya i say exhaust, intake, and suspension first thing lol. the s/c setup would be pretty sweet.
If you do get some larger injectors SS LSJ cobalt injectors would be fine, but you will need to have your car tuned once you do that.
GM Supercharger would be a good kit to get you into forced induction.
