Hi, my name is Shane. I bought a 2002 Cavalier with an LN2 2200 OHV.
I'm new to the J-Body scene... I was into the S-10 and Saturn scene for a good while... decided I needed a change.
My biggest problem with this is, WHERE TO FIND AFTERMARKET PARTS.
My current list:
- A CAI that actually FITS... if I have to make my own... I will... but I'd rather not go through trial-n-error.
- Bigger injectors... God knows I'll need them somewhere down the road.
- Someone in the Mid-Michigan area that can school me on this... lol. I'm not new to the modification scene... but with these cars... I'm pretty much the new guy in the JBody mix... help!

Hey Shane, I'm pretty new too. These guys are a great help.
I've been doing a search and found that RKS has the best aftermarket parts. ( See The FAQ in the performance thread i believe)
There are many FAQs in the Forum and they have been a great help to me learning about the Jbodys.

turbotechracing, aplus performance, carcustoms, gravana, rk sport...

check ebay for the C A I, auto Grimming has a nice C A I for like, 50 bucks..gets compliments
personally if i bought a car that was worth a @!#$ unlike my 2 j's i wouldnt worry about doing anything to the 2200 and i would take the money for building that and do an ecotec swap. better engine and built for boost a lot of people on here will agree.
