Thinking about a project car...

As the title states, I'm thinking about picking up an 2003 Cavalier to tinker on. I know a Cavalier isn't exactly tuner car of the century, but I love the hell out of the one I have now and know a guy that could get one (maybe) pretty cheap. Anyways, just as an opinion, I was thinking about going with the rk-sport lip kit, C/F hood/trunk, O.Z Ultraleggera 16x7 and lowered on Tien SS coilover. As for paint choice, finding something close to the Cyber Gray Metallic, like the ZR1, for the car and black on the lip kit. Looking for suspension mods first, I would rather have a great handling car than a fast one that can't take corners. I've got more details but I'm trying to keep this from becoming tl;dr. Opinions welcome, and if you have suggestions, speak your mind!

Well your going to need struts APP has Dspecs for cheap in the group purchase forum check it out he only has a few left. Also big brake kit might be cool or rear disc conversion, but you seem like you have your head set in the right direction. Take a gander at the suspension and brake forum and look at some of the stickies there is some good info and if you cant find what you need just search.

Yeah, believe it or ot I've searched the hell out of this forum. I thought the Tien coilovers were a straight install out of the box? I'll keep that in mind. I've looked through most of the Neon disc swap threads, about 30+ pages of different ones. I'm thinkin about going that route, big brake kits are way expensive, I think I can get some good pads and rotors and I'll be okay. As for the wheels, yeah they are expensive so I've been looking at the Enkei Performance EDR9 wheel. It's a heavy wheel, but I'm not a hardcore autocrosser either, so that's not a biggie.
