Well here's my problem I bought a 99 sunfire se in october and now over the past couple of months its really hard starting some times you even have to press the gas to get it started but some days it will start right up once it starts its fine its just the getting started part taken it into the shop and they don't know what it is. The car has just over 160 thousand on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated thnx

When it does finally start what does the exhaust look like and smell like coming out of the tail pipe? Is it a lot of white smoke with a fairly "sweet" smell to it?

No there is no kind of sweet smell and the exhuast is a normal colour
