I have just bought a 1999 sunfire with auto trans the ignition cylinder was removed by the previous owner due to loseing the key. i towed it home it starts and runs for acouple seconds(with a screwdriver inserted into the ignition) the theft light comes on flashes accouple times then shuts the car down. i went to the junk yard got an ignition out of a 2000 sunfire because they looked alike (slight differences) and tryed the relearn procedure of the on-off 10 minutes for 30 minutes and "nada" the theft light only flashes for afew seconds when i thought it was supposed to flash for 10 minutes or so. a new ignition from a parts store is tripple what i payed for the car itself and i dont know if it will work any help would be great this is one tricky passkey system for a new guy. any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. i also grabed a Astroflex Passlock 1 and 2 system override moudule its got 2 wires (red and orrange) and i just have no idea where to hook em up that came out of a 1999 sunfire in the junk yard but the ignition switch was already missing from it.
