Hey guys , i just bought a 01 z24 this july , and im amazed , i want to put some mods but since its my first nice car and im not used to it , i was wondering if i could get some help and ideas from here

Intake, header, and exhaust are usually the first things people do..
Drop it..tint it..etc..Basically the first few answers you're going to get.

Also, i know how you feel about the car because the same thing happend to me when i first bought my "01 z24 5 speed cavalier" 2 years ago, i was amazed and so happy about the way my car took off and the way i handled. I started searching and reading alot and modefieng it as i learned, i sold the car a few months back and now i regret it because how fun and reliable thta little car was.....
Anyways, you have a lot to learn and experience with that car but believe me its SO FUN, im gonna help you from experience, and tell you where to start and suggest what not to do if i was you: basic mods
High flow intake system:
Injen or AEM (i had the injencold air intake)
Ported and polished throtle body:
RSM 62mm TB (i had this one)
or
OEM 58 mm TB
High flow header:
OBX racing (i had this one works great)
or
DC Sports header
Pulleys:
U-dox underdrive cranck pulley ( i had this one)
or
Rk sport under drive pulley
AEM overdrve alternator pulley
or
MD-ld9 light weight alternator pulley
secret cams swap or custom cams, i would just go with the secret ones.
Suspension:
Eibach sportlines lowering springs with koney yellow shocks/struts.
Do not buy any lowering springs and use stock shocks.

as for the suspension the guy that had it before bought a dropzone suspension kit , actually i dont know if its good or not

dropzone is bad, My friend Jessica has it..but i love bouncy..its fun!
I had Drop Zone springs on stock struts/struts and i hate it them, and evryone that would ride with me would hate them too lol because how bad and how much they would bounce.. ...
now i have tein complete coilovers and love them, but they are pricey so if you can afford them buy'em, if not look for a set of eibach sportline drop springs, tein springs, road magnet springs, etc.... as for shocks/struts KYB AGX 5-way adjustable, Koni yellow or koni reds, eibach also makes shocks and struts for our cars i belive.
