I have a 1996 Cavalier Base. It is wrecked on the passenger side through door and quarter. I picked up a new hood, two power equipped doors, center console switch panel, and trunk lock cylinder for $85. I went back and got all the seats, rear plastics, floor mats, and front and rear dash covers for $60. Now I've found the Z24 bumpers and skirts for $100. My car has hanging exhaust (inexpensive repair), a cracked winshild ($189 installed), and needs minor quarter work. It was my first car in 99 with 54K and still only has 120K on it. Am I crazy to install all these parts? I just wanted a second opinion before I move forward. I will add a photo later.
Newbie Alert that is. lol. I type too fast!
you already got all the parts. no turning back now. go all out ! lol
Hi, I am new here too. I bought my '97 Z-24 several years ago for $120 with a few bumps and bruises up front and a grenaded engine. My intent was to fix and sell the car, but I fell in love with it, and he has been in the family ever since. I say that if you love your car and can afford it, you would be crazy NOT to put the time and money into it. Good luck.
