Radiator discussion

a buddy and i are discussing what would happen if you hooked up a radiator backwards (e.g. reverse the flow).

however everything we've discussed is theoretical, has anyone ever tried it (like tried to run a pre-98 2200 rad in a 98-02 or tried running an ECO rad in a 98-02 2200)?

i would think that gravity would no longer be on your side so your water pump would be doing all the work, and there may be possibilities of air bubbles...

EDIT: well on further discussion it appears that the 95 - 97 rad is the same rad in 98-02, which would suggest reversing the flow would work, despite the gravity

EDIT 2: problem solved

: ok
: here goes
: problem solver
: all j's bleed from the same spot
: the overflow
: so
: as such
: we arent changing the highest point in the system
: and the rad will function the same as it had before
: just may take a bit more to bleed the system fully
