I have a Sunfire 2001 2200SFI 2.2l 4 doors 112 300KM...single cam... I know it sucks but... It's my first car and I don't want to buy another car... Well, I'll do it but later... And I need my car everyday
I have a budget of 450$ for now, I will have more then more budget every 2 weeks so...
The question is: What should I put on my car?
I'm studying in car mechanical (my first year), I can use EVERYTHING in the garage. And my formator knows lot of things about boosting cars... but he says don't put money on that.
I told him to put my car up to 70% of his performance( he said that 112 300km if way too much to put it higher than 70%, because it can blow up)
I read the performance topic and there is many things to put on a car... But, I need my car everyday and don't want to take the bus. I'm gonna buy a CAI and I'll try to fit it, because there is a sensor on the intake and another file(don't know what it is...).
Anyone has any advice?
Im going to say this once.
LEAVE THE CAR ALONE!
Trust me. When you are done with school you will realize why.

x2... just drive it and maintain it and leave it at that...
Youre French Canadian arent you?
cheap ebay intake, poly upper motor mount insert, poly lower dogbone replacement, powerslot rotors and hawk brake pads. $450 spent and car sounds, reacts and stops better. check ebay, summitracing and turbotechracing.
oh yea and of course fresh everything, belt, fluids, filters.

Yes, I only have to change a transmission's hose now... Then I'll see if I put money on this car, waiting is a good idea, I'll buy a better car... Well, thanks all!
