So i am thinking of replacing my engine when it reaches its last breath.
i have a 2003 2.2 ecotec cavalier, and was wondering what make and models, other than cavalier/ sunfire have the same engine.
Alero?
HHR?
grand am?
Ion?
VUE?
Malibu?

best bet is to find one out of another cavalier/sunfire, but yeah i think the alero and grand am ecotec is the same deal. hhr and ion no, that'd b the same thing as trying to swap in a cobalt's 2.2
you could do something even funner and go with a 3800.......
Get one out of the same car or youre asking for trouble.
