My sunfire is a SLX 2001 but, I didn't find the meaning of SLX, it doesn't even exist on Mitchell...
So what does the SLX have in more or less ?

pretty much means nothing just something to lure you into buying it. I could be be wrong dont take my word for it.
Super Loud Xylophone? Did it come with a xylophone? Is it super loud?
On a more serious note, Luxury Sedan maybe? Not really sure how luxurious a sunfire could be... but thats all I can think of... I really hope it came with a xylophone though.

SLX was one of three trim levels available only on Canadian Sunfire Sedans. The trim levels for the Sedans are as follows: SL (base model), SLX (middle) and GTX (fully loaded).

i dont know how that works, my 98 coupe is a GTX and it aint fully loaded
I hate to tell you this, but after looking at your
Car Domain page, your Sunfire "GTX" is simply dealer rice. The real GTXs certainly did not have GTX on the head rests or on the sides of the car. It is simply a conotation of trim level. It's not the same thing as a GT for example where it received different body components and such. Yours is definitely just a base model that some dealer slapped some GTX stuff on. I am not trying to give you a hard time or be mean or anything, just being honest.
