With a little work, pretty much anything will fit. Probably not what you wanted to know...

What are you trying to do?

Caddy Northstar, 3800 S/C, 3800 N/A, 3400, 2.2L ecotec, 2.4L quad 4, 2.2L OHV all fit in a cavalier engine bay with a 5-speed, but some require more work/fabrication than others.

Thanks for the input, but i was meant what will directly fit into my car. i was really wondering if a 2000-2202 motor will directly fit into my car and im pretty sure only the 95-99 trannys will work because the mounts are different, but im not sure.

the only engine that will fit in it directly is what is in it now

anything else will require mods
