My name is Derrek and I own a 2004 Chevy Cavalier Base Model 4 door 5speed!. bought it in Feb with 58,000 miles for 4600.00
Car came with after market cruise and the Sport alloy wheels. what else more could you need right?
Mods I have done, Removed all badges and the door moldings they were turning like a yellow or faded look so they are gone.
I would like to know, I'm going to be nightshading my taillights and i'm looking at the nuts and bolts and there all plastic? if i take them all off how do I secure the taillights back on? any help would be great.
I'm getting the windows tinted next week. I also added M3 style mirrors but havent hooked up the turn signals for them yet donno if I want to or not.
After that I'm not sure what I will do next. I would like to lower it or maybe paint my wheels a bronze color.

you take them off, then you put them back on..............it's not hard.

I just didn't want to take them off and have an issue, they just looked glued on, and the tips on the bolts are red, never seen this before on a car, my impala its all metal.
K so unscrew them and screw them back on check. I'll give it a shot this weekend. I'm gonna go all black!

The tails have plastic studs and a goofy nut that cuts threads into the stud when it's spun on.
I took one off as a test, I see what you mean these nuts and bolts are weird how they work, ill post some pics up when I paint them...

to be honest I hate the mirrors too, i'm going to get the stockers paint. I CANT SEE OUT THESE MIRRORS THERE TO SMALL AND CHEAPLY MADE!
