ok im looking to upgrade my 95 2.2 to a newer 2200 i know i need engine, harness and ecu but would i have to swap anything else?

this, but i also believe it depends on the donor car year. you might have a big nightmare on your hands if you get it from 00+, being thats when they switched to a BCM also. you will have major issues with your gauges and i believe fuel pump power
Might as well go with a 2.4 swap
with the time money and headace your probley going to get from doing the swap its just cheaper and easier to sell it and buy another 2200 cav there cheap enough as it is and theres thousands of them out there
