whats better the 2.2 ecotec or the 2.4 i wanna swap from the 2200sfi
The Ecotec guys are going to say the eco and the Quad guys are going to say the 2.4L. It is all personal preference and i prefer the eco.

I personally would stick with it. Not because I am a quad guy, but because its too much work to swap everything over for that year. The 2.4 is a good motor. Just stick with it. If you want an ecotec, then buy a cavalier or sunfire with the motor already in it. I am not against the ecotec or the quad/twincam for the record (just against the rest

yep, Mike is the winner... hands down, but the OP asked eco or ld9. Not dissing the eco... it's just easier to swap over the ld9 for his year.
