Hello,
Just bought a '00 Z-24. Got a good deal off of Craigslist. It is an automatic with 98k miles. The body is in really great shape, the engine in good shape, but the interior needs a little attention. The dash pad and radio/AC bezel is cracked and will need replacing and there is a small coolant leak. The previous owner said the leak appears to be coming from the drivers side of the engine. Maybe the upper coolant hose...? I plan on changing the transmission fluid and filter, the oil and filter and checking the condition of the spark plugs. The mandatory K&N filter is also on the list.
Glad to be part of the forum and looking forward to learning about my new purchase.

Just remember, its a love or hate deal. I have had my J for 2 years now and I love to hate it some days. lol. Either way, lots of good info around here, but don't jump at the first thing someone tells you... MAKE SURE TO CHECK! We have a few trolls around here who like to jerk people around and I have fell for it a few times, but I learned. Take my advice, double check info!

you could always upload pictures to photobucket or tinypics.com. then paste the image links.
That's actually the dash hate to tell you and you got it bad bro, otherwise the outside looks damn good. Welcome and is that "the big 3" I see there?
Wow, I have never seen the radio/hvac plastics broke before. I bet somebody tried to steal the radio... Those cracks up at the top by the windshield are common... Just have to replace the radio piece.... and the top piece can be either replaced with an entire dash piece or you could fix both problems with
THIS!!!
actually i would replace the radio piece completely, and then fix the other thing with this.
Dash cover The other link has a cover for the radio plastics... I personally thought it was a complete replacement. My bad.
Thats a really nice start and Silver FTW,
The interior pieces are a dime a dozen at most junkyards. Thats why Jbodies are appealing (well, to all of us lol) You can keep it perfect pretty cheap. Usually there are a ton in junkyards, so what you want is only broken on some, so plenty of good parts to go around. It has been my best friend since like 2004. So id look there if you cant swing that deal on eBay. If you can get the LSS lips, debadge it, and lower it, you would be in great shape. That seems to be the recipe for success in these post F&F body kit days. Oh, and welcome to the forum.
