Will the alternator off of a 2.4 ecotec hhr fit on my 2.2 ecotec cavalier???

I believe the plug on the alternator is different.

It says the alternator also fits right onto a 2006 cobalt 2.2 ecotec. Are there differences between the 05 and 06 2.2s?

the 2006 SS/SC (2.0L) alternator fits directly to an 04 cavalier (2.2L) for sure. The only difference, the pulley spins the opposite direction.
i have the LSJ one because i did the whole supercharger swap. If you use the stock cavalier alternator on the supercharger setup, the alternator will actually spin backwards which will work, but apparently not cool as efficiently and burn out your alterantor quicker.

the SC balts and the n/a may be different though.
