Hello I'm new to this site. I'm looking for a solution for my 99 cavalier 2.4L. I keep blowing engines, the bottom end keeps coming loose anybody experience this. Is it losing oil or what this is my second engine in 2 months first one completely locked up. Second engine I ran tonight now has a rod knocking why does it keep doing that.
its because the oil pump aireates the oil at high rpm and doesn't lube the bearings correctly you need to look for the 2.3 oil pump swap on here and consider doing this to take care of that problem
