Hello All,
I'm looking for help regarding the correct wiring of a clutch neutral switch on a 2001 Cavalier Z-24.

The vehicle was purchased as a work in progress this summer and is now complete and running well with the exception of the clutch neutral switch. I have a switch and a pigtail connector with 8`` of wire (Brown and brown with white stripe) trimmed back but a visible way into the wiring harness is non-existent. I believe the CURRENT wiring harness may have been taken from a Automatic car as when I removed the pigtail from the wreckers car the harness APPEARED different from the one in the Z24.

This vehicle needs to pass a Safety inspection and will be driven by my children so a functional clutch switch is absolutely required.
If someone knows the correct wire/s for both Manual and Automatic that I could splice into to enable the neutral switch I would really appreciate it.
