How's it going?! After many hours searching for parts and advice on the internet, I've finally reached this here forum. By circumstance I am now rebuilding the 2.2 Ecotec in the 2003 Cavalier I just bought. Apparently a previous owner didn't know what car maintenance was, and after who knows how long being oil starved, the engine decided it no longer wanted balance shafts inside of it! At least the intake side shaft! Anyway, to my question. Since I have the car apart anyway, I've decided to do some quality of life upgrades to it and was looking around here to see if anyone had any recommendations on tightening up the steering? I found a post about some of the better models of compact GM cars having quicker ratios (Z24, Ion Redline, Cobalt). Maybe I can scavenge something if there is no aftermarket upgrade?
