Wondering how much boost the factory internals can hold plan on redoing the whole motor but for the starts I wanna put a t3/t4 kit I found online and was wondering how much to set it at or what not.
I have a buddy who ran 25 psi and sometimes more on a regular basis on stock internals before he blew the motor. But he did swap in a new motor and continues to run 25 psi. it takes a bit for the motor to blow. It seems the 2200's love boost. Id say you can run 15psi, upwards to 20 psi fairly safe on stock internals
They'll do about 275-300whp if the tune is done well and the motor is healthy.
Psi is a terrible measuring stick for this. 20 psi from a gt35 is a lot more than 20psi from something small like a t04e.

Motor has 130 831 miles but I do give a bit of hell.
