What if anything needs to be changed to put a 96 cavalier 2.2 ohv engine into my 2000 cavalier 2.2 ohv
the 95-97 engine is one design, the 98-02 in another. I'd just find a later engine, easier.
I miss my Cavalier, even if it made 100 hp on a cold day and had more suspension then it deserved.
I already have a built 96 for Racing purposes I know things are different but is it just a wiring harness swap or more
What would need to be changed to make a 98 engine work in the 2000 it's a 5spd if that matters

Either use the computer from 96-97 or a stand alone computer like MegaSquirt.
