Took the Z24 to a local track last night, Kansas City International Raceway. Full weight and stock Goodyear RSA's. For just having bolt-ons i am very pleased. I focused on my launch not reaction times. Shift light was set on 6200rpm.

Nice. It's all in the first 60'. Thats a great 60' for RSA's.
Damn...if I could have only pulled a 60' like that in my cavalier it would've been 14's.
pretty good
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
great times !! yup, your 60' has done it for ya, I'd just love to hit a 2.1 60' so I can get about 15.3
15.574 @ 89 mph stock

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa YAHHHHHHYAAA!
for basic bolt ons and @!#$ty RSA's that's most impressive. (I believe it to be anyway)
good job man.
Thanks for the positive comments guys/girls. A combination of slipping the clutch and being a decent driver all helped out in my low 60ft times on stock RSA's. This rest was probably the mounts and bushings I have to eliminate as much wheel hop as I can (even though I still had a little at the track) I think I accomplished my goal of having a bone stock looking Cavalier that would out perform many cars for twice what I payed plus the gratification of people saying "I didn't know Cavaliers were quick" Next goal of mine is breaking 14's either with a few more bolt-ons and/or cams.

Thanks Bob. you sure you don't own a Mustang and not a Camaro? the hate and sarcasm I get from you gives me a feeling your not really a GM guy.

Cams should/might get you into the 14's.

only blue in these viens!
Hey, Bob (aka asshat) wanna race?
Nitro wrote:Hey, Bob (aka asshat) wanna race?
your gonna need more than what's in your sig dude
Waht do you run?
You should be around mid 12's with your mods.
did 13.1@108 with a @!#$ty 2.2 60' and a 15-20 mph head wind. i've only gone to the track once. Mid 12's....hmm...mid 12's is a good time for a full bolt 'on street trim LS1. 12.8-12.9 is what my car could pull with a good 60'. Maybe even 12.7 with a good DA
Oh. Most of the LS1 Maro SS's around here will run high 12's (12.8-12.9)with just a lid, cat-back, and some DR's.
One guy even ran a 12.701@110 ,1.9 60' with DR's and Lid...otherwise BONE stock...stock weight.
I guess he's just a good driver though.
Another guy just ran a 13.008..stock down to the tires.
Also...with that said
Jarrett might not need more than whats in his sig....or maybe he already has more
.

gimme adresses and cookies will be in the mial monday morning. My time is 13.1 because of 60' and weather, i don't need to be educated on what it can do. I am well aware.
Well...you claim..

It does not take "full" bolt on ls1 to hit mid 12's sir. Just mild bolt on's.
Unless you are a ***tty driver.

I can drive. Ask QuickSilverZ...we are friends and i'm just joking around...so ya
. SO how many LS1's have you owned....or are these just your "friends" cars
Yes it takes full bolt 'ons to hit mid 12's UNLESS your running a auto with a convertor with some nice tires and a decent track. It's all about the 60' like i siad earlier. I launched from 2k and nothing higher b/c my clutch(and rear end) is a piece of @!#$, and likes to stick to the floor after a couple hard shifts
It's true, Bob is a friend of mine. He can't hit 2.160 ft's on RSA's like me but he is a driver. He sifts seamless right off the rev limiter, makes for great videos. " I have a dream, that all gm makes and model's can get along"
