I was bored, the GF had family stuff to do, so I decided to go to the track. On the way to the track, i hit a huge possum that busted my front bumper. I find this Ironic, since my corvette is at the body shop for the exact same thing (except i hit a raccoon in it). Anyways, it was around 50 degrees, and a small turnout so I managned to get 21 runs in. My best 3 were as follows:
.186
2.34
10.15
69.89
.009
2.33
10.18
69.81
.129
2.35
10.23
69.36
This car is on stock eagle rsa's at 30 psi. It has a cone filter , and that is all. It isabout the same speed as the blazer I replaced. The blazer did a best of 9.6@72 with very few boltons. I hope this car can do the same. The 60ft's suck, but the stock goodyears are not known for traction, plus, I am used to RWD and AWD cars.
My slowest run of the night was a 10.4
Not bad for a car that gets 35 mpg on average.
2004 Cavalier. Razzi. (Sold)
1998 Corvette. Some mods.
1992 Typhoon. Lots of mods.
1994 Civic VX 44MPG
not to bad that would mean your running about mid 15's in the 1/4 practice your launch a little more id say and/or get some decent tires and drop your 60' to more like a 2.1 and you'll be good
The one, the only, ME.
air down your tires to 23-24 psi, then you'll see better 60'. I wish I could do that, but I'm not about to buy tires just ofr drag racing, and I don't want to bust my rims with the low profiles on 'em. So I just air down to about 26 psi.
15.574 @ 89 mph stock
thats not bad that would work to a high 15 second pass
i usually run 9.8-9.9 when i am in the 15.3-15.5 range
